Week 4 - Day 1

Well, today started a new day... which means, it was time for the weigh in and measurements. I have to admit, I was extremely nervous after the weight gain last week. I was hoping I wouldn't see anymore of an increase. In fact, I would have been completely content with just losing what I had gained back. But I was in for a wonderful surprise...

I stepped on the scale, closed my eyes and counted to three... 1... 2.. 3...

And there it was. 271.8. I had officially lost 10.2 pounds. I reached my first milestone! No words can describe the sense of accomplishment I feel. :)

Moving right along, however, today was a gym day... and y'all know the drill by now so I'll just go straight to the summary:

Bike - 25 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down
Elliptical - 25 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down

I have to say, thank god there's TVs at this gym. Although I thoroughly enjoy listening to my music, I find it almost better to watch TV because then I'm completely distracted and the time just seems to fly. Tonight, I watched Family Guy... my life was complete.
