I must admit, I cheated a little today but only because i genuinely had to; I ate fast food. NOW before you go judging or condemning, here me out. I was on my way to the gym and I hadn't eaten anything in about 5 hours and I've been training my body to have a snack every 2 to 3 hours after eating. Well, needless to say, I started feeling a little light headed and the only thing that I had on me was my orange. And seeing as I didn't want to get in an accident by trying to peel a damn orange and driving... I opted for a 5 piece chicken nugget from Wendy's. I figure it was the lesser of the other evils on their menu. When I got in the parking lot, I then ate my orange for some more energy. Truth be told, it felt kind of weird eating fast food after nearly a month of not having drive-thru fast foods.... I honestly don't miss it.
After the mini light-headed fiasco, i felt better and it was time to work out. I will admit, I didn't work out as long as I wanted to because by the end of it, I was just so ready to collapse from exhaustion. Here's the summary:
Bike - 20 minutes with a 5 minute cool down
Weights (for abs & obliques) - 10 minutes
Elliptical - 10 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down
Working and then going to the gym really sucks... but... at least I am sticking with it. And hopefully losing weight. I've decided that if I haven't lost a few more pounds by the next weigh in, I'm going to make a meeting with the personal trainer to see what exactly I'm doing wrong, or not doing right. That should help things.
Day 4 done, 3 more days to go!
