Week 2 - Day 3

Today was a rough day...

I ended up having to stay at work longer than anticipated so I was completely thrown off. I was hoping to rest up a bit before going to work out because I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night. I won't lie, by the time I finally got home... I REALLY didn't want to go to the gym. I was just TOO exhausted.

But I made myself go. And I am so beyond glad that I did.

I met Lori Loo at the gym at about 7 and it was off to the bike. I did my new routine that I talk about in day 1's post from this week but this time, for the last minute of each 5 minutes, i went as fast as I could. Felt the burn, and it felt great ;)

And then... an accomplishment! After numerous times being just majorly beaten by the elliptical... I FINALLY conquered that thing on a big scale! I went a FULL 20 minutes with a 5 minute cool down! I was SO proud of myself! I have no idea what made today different... but i just kept going and going. In fact, I would have kept going if I didn't stop myself but I knew if I didn't stop when I did, my body would completely hate me in the morning. I can honestly say that I felt the best after this workout than any of the other ones. So to summarize:

Bike - 25 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down
Elliptical - 20 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down

I seriously just feel wonderful! But I can already feel my body being like "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MEEEEE?" haha!

Day 3 is done, 4 more days to go!
