Coming to love some of my favorite bands, which happen to be smaller name bands, I've had the pleasure of winning meet & greets with the whole band or sometimes even getting pictures with one of the band members or two. Some wonderful memories have been created in these meet & greets but out of all the ones I've been a part of, I can't help but look back on the pictures and wish that I looked better.
Let me elaborate for those who may get confused; this is NOT me saying that I want to get thinner to impress these band members in hopes of them falling madly in love with me so they can whisk me away and we can live out a tumultuous rock and roll love affair. No no, my dear friends, that is NOT the case. In fact, I've come to be friends with some of these select band members due to some extremely fortunate events that have taken place in my life, like becoming part of the family of performers who play at Spencer Bell Legacy Shows, (to read more about the wonderful musician Spencer Bell and his legacy, click here) No, this is me wanting to get thinner so I can look back on any future memories and not only remember the good times but also, not be ashamed or embarrassed of the way I look in photos. I want to be able to look at a photo of me and one of these people I've come to respect and some that I've come to know on a more personal level and not criticize how I looked.
And that is why Meet & Greets are one of my unusual motivations.
And now for fun, some past meet & greet photos for you to enjoy!

I wouldn't change any of these memories or pictures for the world. If I could wish for just one thing, it would be to look better in all of these photos and now be ashamed of how I look. Rest assured, things are gonna change in that department soon!
