Week 1 - Day 2

Today was a non-exercise day so really not too much to report on.

However, I have noticed that by eating three meals a day with a small, healthy snack in between, I have so much more energy and I'm just generally in a better mood. I also find myself thinking about going to the gym a lot and mapping out in my head what machines I want to try out next. That has to be a good sign right? Also, I actually look forward to grocery shopping for healthy foods. It just motivates me more.

Speaking of motivation, I cannot believe the support I am getting from friends, family, and coworkers. I just posted the link to this blog on my personal facebook page and I have just been overwhelmed with such positive responses from so many people. It definitely encourages me more to continue to make all of these people proud. I am so grateful for everyone who has encouraged me. It is just so wonderful to get all of this support!

Day 2 is in the books, 5 more days to go in the week! :)

  1. Did you sign up with weight watchers or something? I was curious because you have some of their meals in your posts. If you want a good dessert get plain rice cakes, nutella, and bananas. Spread nutella (I usually get Kroger store brand) and cut banana slices thin and layer on rice cake. It's great and not too bad for you. OR!! Chocolate graham crackers with fat free cool whip, make sandwiches and freeze. They taste like ice cream sandwiches. I found if I deny myself I get off track. After awhile, full fat desserts give me a stomach ache. I'm proud of you for keeping with it. I'm going to try your green tea lemonade!!

  2. I didn't, I just REALLY love their food! LOL!

    Ohhhh i LOVE rice cakes and nutella, I will have to try those. And the ice cream sandwiches... sound amazing! Thanks for the suggestions and let me know if you like the Green Tea Lemonade! :)
