Week 7 - Day 1

Well well well, who has missed me?!

I am finally back from hiatus, which means that my computer is back in commission. However, I am now currently sick as a dog thanks to the bipolar weather we've recently had in MI.

I did not work out tonight due to that and because of prior commitments. I, also, didn't eat as well as I probably should have... but my throat is absolutely killing me. :( I do hate being sick.

About Week 6, I am going to just end up posting a big hiatus message explaining what happened instead of going back and trying to remember the day to day.

The good news missed during the hiatus is that I lost 17lbs! However, last week was kind of a miserable week for me on a more personal level and due to that, I failed on my eating habits and thus gained a pound. But then again, this usually happens around this time of the money... this happened to me in my third week before so I'm not too worried about it this time.

Hiatus Update

So I am still on hiatus because my computer is still out of commission but I promise to post as soon as I possibly can. I was hoping to have it fixed by now... But alas that is not the case.

I did however want to let everyone know that I have officially lost 17lbs!!!! I'm so excited and proud... But I will comment more on that when I make posts from my computer instead of my phone :)

Temporary Weekend Hiatus

Well, looks like I'm going to have to take a weekend hiatus from my blog unfortunately. Last night, my computer cord snapped and sparked leaving me with a completely dead laptop until my new cord arrives Monday.

I will resume blogging then and will post my meals from this weekend then as well.

Week 5 - Day 5

Today was a much needed day off. I started it off kind of lounging around before heading up to the gym to really push myself. I decided to go longer at the gym today because I wanted to essentially push my body to it's full potential. Well truth be told, the idea was to go for 2 hours. I lasted about an hour and a half before I thought I was going to sweat to death. Of course, wearing a sweatshirt didn't help either... but I digress. I'm proud of myself for being able to go for an hour and a half. It was hard... it DEFINITELY was hard, but it was so worth it and I felt great. I was so close to doing the circuit training at the gym today and even went up to it about twice, but I'm still very much afraid I wouldn't be able to make it through. Also, I'm not entirely sure how to use the machines so my fear got the best of me and I opted out of doing it. However, what I did do was the arc with arms machine again for 20 minutes. I tell you, nothing can work out your entire body like that damn machine. It is a beast. But before I go too much into it, let's summarize, shall we?

Bike - 25 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down
Elliptical - 25 minutes plus a 5 minute cool down
Arc w/ Arms - 20 minutes plus a cool down that consisted of me dragging myself to the locker room

I'm starting to see even more of a physical change in the mirror's reflection every morning. I look at myself and I can see myself getting thinner. My clothes are fitting better and I just feel healthier. Not many people have told me that they've seen a physical change (meaning the people I see on a daily basis) but as they say, it takes longer for those around you to notice a change in you and that's fine. I'm not doing this to be noticed. I'm doing this to be healthy and happy with who I am. The hard work is paying off. :)

Tonight was a looooooong work day. I was going to try and get to the gym tonight but there was just no way.

I honestly don't have too much to update about on this day because I spent most of the day at work. The joys of retail *rolls eyes*
